This will lead to a slick commute Friday morning in some areas ahead of a nice weekend. Police investigating shooting around City Park area DENVER (KDVR) -- The Denver Police Department said one person has been shot but the extent of their injuries is unknown. The shooting was reported in the 2300 block of Steele Street which is in the proximity of the Denver Zoo, City Park and City Park Golf Course. Police are working on gathering suspect information. Search underway for driver in connection to Miami hit-and-run that left motorcyclist dead Police are searching for the driver who, they said, struck and killed a motorcyclist in Miami and fled the scene on foot.City of Miami Police units responded to the scene of the hit-and-run along West Flagler Street, near 47th Avenue, Thursday morning.Surveillance video from a nail salon across the street captured the scene as the driver traveled on the street and collided with the motorcyclist, pinning the victim underneath his car, at around 4:30 a.m.While the call came in as a pedestrian hit, it was actually a car versus a motorcycle. STEAMY AND STORMY CONDITIONS Happy Thursday, South Florida!Hopefully everyone has been able to dry out after seeing heavy rain and strong thunderstorms earlier in the week. The rainy season in South Florida doesn’t officially begin until May 15, however, the last three weeks across our area have felt as if it were already in full force. And after starting off the week with soggy conditions, South Florida finally saw relief from the rain earlier today. Beautiful blue skies and lower rain chances allowed our afternoon high temperatures to reach the upper 80s and low 90s. These are temperatures that are more typical of Summer!I have good news for South Florida tonight!  Mainly dry conditions will continue through the evening and overnight as we round out the work week.
