POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Yngwie Malmsteen and Glenn Hughes are coming to The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie. The concert is scheduled for August 19. Malmsteen, acclaimed for his neoclassical-metal virtuoso guitar playing, hails from Sweden and has released 22 studio albums throughout his career. Hughes is best known for his work playing with legendary rock & metal bands Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. The two veteran rockstars will be joined by Indianapolis hard rock band Southbound Beretta. The arrest stemmed from a joint investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Unit, the Department of Social Services, and the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. According to the police, Provost did not disclose all persons living in the household and the income she earned when filing public assistance applications. Air pollution in metropolitan Los Angeles reached unhealthy levels in many areas on Monday.Data from IQAir and Purple Air, both of which measure particulate matter pollution (PM2.5), showed readings of 100 parts per million or higher in downtown L.A., the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.Measurements from the South Coast Air Quality Management District showed slightly better air quality early in the afternoon. Students and faculty at Covina High School were evacuated Monday due to a threat, officials said.A spokesperson for the Covina-Valley Unified School District told KTLA that someone phoned in a threat against the school late in the morning. Two protestors who were arrested while demonstrating in downtown Los Angeles against immigration laws plan to sue the U.S. Department of Homeland Security alleging their civil rights were violated.The couple was organizing outside the federal building on May 9, and some of the tense moments were caught on camera.The plaintiffs, Edin Enamorado and his girlfriend Wendy Lujan, allege the protest hadn’t even started and they were protecting a reporter who was told by security to move their car.They said backup was called and things quickly escalated.Video from two different angles shows Enamorado speaking to a security guard before a DHS officer shows up. Enamorado tells the officer not to touch him before the officer appears to push Enamorado and eventually the two wrestle to the ground. 22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies after Vehicle Collision near East Escalante RoadTUCSON, AZ (May 15, 2023) – Thursday night, a motorcycle crash near South Prudence Road claimed the life of Dillon Alexander Long.The incident happened on May 11th, at about 8:00 p.m., near South Prudence Road and East Escalante Road.According to the Tucson police, a motorcyclist, identified as 22-year-old Long, and a Nissan hatchback were involved in the collision.Upon investigation, the Nissan was stopped at a stop sign and attempted to cross Escalante Road when he crashed with Long traveling eastbound.Unfortunately, even though Long was wearing a helmet, he died due to the extent of his injuries.Meanwhile, the driver of the Nissan suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.Investigators later reported that the crashed was caused by a failure by the Nissan to stop at a red light.The team at Sweet James sends their sincere sympathies to the family a...Criticism, no new charges, as Trump-Russia-FBI probe ends
